To use as a Curling Iron - With switch placed on "lock", press spring handle to lift spring curling iron. Pull section of hair through and release spring to hold hair in place. Rotate barrel to wrap hair around barrel of curling iron. Release hair with spring handle.

just ok

This item is just ok... the 2-in-1 technology doesn't really work very well. It can't straighten my hair sleek and smooth like other flat irons do, neither can it curl my hair very well (when I use the curling iron,hair slips out of the barrel too easily)...not to mention that it's a lot heavier than a single flat iron/curling iron. I'd rather go back and use an individual item.
