not tourmaline

To me a flat iron so expensive should have tourmaline ceramic but it's not. CHI digital is most the same as the original, and it happens again and again that i hit the digital buttons during straightening as it's right where your fingers go.

I owned my Chi for about 2 years now and have had NO problems! Many of you said the cord went down in 1 year or so, but mine is fine. I never wrap the cord around the flat iron, so there won't be any short outs in the cord. It gets hot quick and STAYS hot all the time while working, and leaves my hair looks so shiny and healthy!!! Will definitely recommend it!

my husband bought me this when my old CHI original finally quit working after 6 years of great performance. this one looks much like the original model, and I am happy that it has the digital reader. so far so good, hope it could exceed the original model and last long.

I've heard so many of raved reviews about how wonderful CHI works so I finally decided to buy one. Well, it's just a flat iron like other brands. I have a sedu and babyliss flat iron which straighten my hair fast and sleek; Chi doesn't make much difference. but it's still good.

this Chi flat iron is great! I have long and fine hair that always go frizzy, especially after wash. It's too cool that CHI not only do the straightening job but reduces frizz. I'm gonna stick to it for a long long time.

Switch broke off!!!

I have to say I love the results this CHI flat iron gave me, super straight & smooth. That’s why I still bought it though many people say CHI’s cord easily short out. After it was delivered, I kept it very careful not to pull or drag the cord, always stored it the pouch. Unfortunately, the switch broke off after 5 months!!! It failed to turn off so I had to unplug after finishing use. Sigh……I will return it and see what the manufacturer can do……doubt I will buy again.

The chi flat iron works amazingly. It makes my frizzy curly hair look really sleek, shiny, and straight. It heats up instantly and glides through through hair with no trouble.

I have to say this chi flat iron is great. The digital adjustable settings make it easier to check the temperature. But I always hit the digital off button key cuz its where your hands go to do your hair.
