Where do I register my chi flat iron for warranty.
I have a black original chi that I bought 14 months ago. I don't have the receipt because it has been working fine until 4 months ago. It seems to have a short in the wire. I don't have the box, but can it be fixed?

I got a chi ceramic flat iron as Christmas 2012 gift. Sometimes it will not come on when it does it works well. I do not have a receipt because it was a gift. Do you have suggestions? I have heard they have a lifetime warranty.
This is my 3rd chi I have purchased this one is only 5 months old and it just went out while I was using it and of course I don't have my receipt. I'd rather pay more for a quality product.

This is the 2nd chi i have owned. The light just goes out and the iron is done. I am a single mom of 4 kids and cant afford to just replace it. I have my receipt but of course it is past the date for the Warranty. Totaly bummed you dont have some way of replacing them to your existing customers for cheaper.
I have had 4 Chi flat irons between me & my two girls & don't intend to purchase another since they all quit working & you have to wiggle the cord to make it have power...this sounds like a fire hazard to me. JCPenney won't replace without a box & wants a receipt. I guess our next will be Paul Mitchell flat irons if Chi doesn't want to own up to their lifetime warranties.
