 great flat ironI saw my hair dresser use this CHI flat iron and how amazing it works on her clients. so I bought one myself. I'm in love with it. It works super smooth through my hair and make it straight with only one pass. I usually straight my hair three times weekly and it's healthy and shinny. Would definitely recommend this iron.  love this CHIThe first time I used it, I love it. I have really curly hair and it made my hair silky straight. It's a little expensive but worth the money.  UnreliableI have purchased 8 chis since I began using it. They break so easily and so frequently. I never wrap my chi in the cord and never drop it. I took the last one apart after it broke and discovered the wire running from the circuit board to the ceramic plates had melted/snapped in half. I'm not sure why the other 7 broke after as little as 4 months of use, but it's beginning to get frustrating spending so much money on short-lived flat irons. I'm not sure I'll ever buy another chi.  So disappointed…My CHI stopped working after 10 months!!! A flat iron at such high price should have lasted longer!!! I wonder if any design defect for the cord and if CHI don’t do anything to this problem, it will certainly lose customers. A knockoff？As my first chi flat iron grew old, I purchased a second chi to replace it. But my second chi doesn’t work as well as my first one. It seemed fried my hair which my first iron never did. I was skeptical that it was a counterfeit knockoff. So disappointed. For my daughterI purchased this chi flat iron for my daughter. The adjustable heat makes it easier to use than others. The result is also outstanding. My daughter loves it so much. Easy to useI have used many flat irons over the years and the Chi flat iron works best by far. It heats up very quickly which is perfect for a busy mum like me. The ceramic plates can add shine to hair without damaging it. Of course, if it is not so pricey, that will be better. its greatwow best iron i had for years...alll the ones i got before destoyed my hair badly and my hair split!! and theres no problems with this one!! heats up fast...i dont know why your guys lasted a little bit.. i guess you dont take care of it well love chi!!  DisappointedI have used my chi flat iron for two years.It still works great. So I trust this brand.I ordered this chi flat iron for my sister. But yesterday she told me it didn’t work any more which just lasted three months. I am very disappointed. seriously people?to all the people who say there is a problem with the electrical cord, STOP WRAPPING YOUR CORD!!!! what are you supposed to do with the cord? come on people, really? i've used a flat iron for 5 years and have never had a problem storing my iron without wrapping the cord.. you just, dont! it doesnt need to be all tight to store it.. just sort of bunch it up loosely and keep in in a good spot! i swear you people are pretty freakin stupid |
