 this thing is terriblei had the old chi turbo that didn't have the digital read out for 5 years and it worked perfectly the whole time until one day it stopped working so i got the new version with the digital read out and i'm on my third one in 3 months... It's amazing when it works, but it doesn't work all the time....
 Mrs.you NEED one! Yes, mine has finally stopped working but I've had it for 6 years! I've tried half a dozen flat irons from local stores and in no way do they compare. CHI makes my normally curly thick frizzy crazy hair look straight silky and healthy. I am buying a new one! CHI will forever be a staple item in my cabinet!! The CHII love the chi flat iron but it breaks after 1 year. It's an electical problem in the cord. So please do something to improve the electical cord  chi turbo flat iron 2''It does a qualitj job of straightning your hair but it breaks easily. Mine broke a month ago. I plugged it in and the light indicator didn't turn on and the chi never heated up. I only had the straightner for a year!!! i wish i had itthis is one i wish i had right now i own a remington and i have wavy long blonde hair after the remington it looks like little curls but my friend has this and she used it n my hair i seriously thought bout asking to borrow it it is awesome get it u know u want to Awesome until it breaks...which it will!I am on my third one of these in 2 years because it keeps breaking. I agree with everyone that it is an awesome straightener, however I am getting frustrated having to spend $200 to replace it every year. They say not to wrap the cord to store it and it wont break, but what are you supposed to do-stretch it out across your living room just to ensure it never breaks? I dont think so. AMAZING!!!This thing is amazing! It really works and takes half the time. My hair is long, poofy, and frizzy but after using this flat iron, my hair has a whole new texture and it leaves it shiny and straight, i highly recommend this product to anyone!!!!  Flawless product!!I was suspect of the need for "ceramic ions" and "far infrared technology", but this iron was highly recommended by salon personnel, so I decided to dish out the money and try it. You don't need to believe the hype to realize that this is a top quality product. This was a case of "you get what you pay for"! It is heats up almost immediately. The latter feature is worth the money to me alone, and the the ceramic feels much gentler to my hair. My girlfriends hair looks great!I went to the salon with my friend Naomi because she was in desperate need of a hair makeover because a few months before that, she got a horrible perm that made her hair so poofy! But when the stylist used a chi flat iron on Naomi's hair I actually envied her hair. It was so straight and perfect!!! |
