 CHI is better than Babyliss ProI bought this CHI after my Babyliss Pro flat iron was broken. This CHI could make hair much smoother than Babyliss, I love that great touch, and the straightened hair could last for longer time, too.  iT SUCKS!!ELECTRiCAL PROBLEMS AGAiN!!=[i HAVE BEEN THROUGH 6 CHi'S iN 1YEAR.i HATE iT!!i TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY STUFF BUT THATS RiDiCULOUS!!AND iT STRAiGHTiNS AMAZiNG BUT NOT 4 VERY LONG. i GOT ONE MONDAY AND THEN ON THURSDAY iT WAS BROKE!!WHAT KiNDA PRODUCT DOES THAT? i WOULD NEVER TELL ANY-1 2 BUY iT. BECAUSE iT SUCKS!!!ALL THAT DAMN MONEY iN THE DRAiN!!  Great Straightner!The CHI straightner is terrific! It allows me to straighten my hair in about 10-20 min, so it saves me lots of time. It makes your hair appear silky, smooth, and it feels really soft after using it. I do reccommend a heat protector/styling serum if you do straighten your hair with this. I straighten my hair about every day, and the CHI hair styling products work really well. But, you have to be careful where you use it. I am on my 3rd CHI in 2 years ( I got one for x-mas, it broke, sent it in, they sent me a new one, then that broke, now i got a new one, and its because of what outlet I use. YOu shouldn't use it in bathroom outlest, or outlets that have the red and black buttons on them (due to the short circuit).BUt, overrall, it is a terrific iron. I would def. reccomend this to anyone! The CHI is the best!I've been using hair irons for over 10 years and the CHI has been the best yet! It strightens my hair like none other and protects it from frizzing under humidity. Lots of people have been writing about their iron not working for very long, but like everything else, nice costly things have to be taken care of. I've had my CHI for about 2 years, and with much care, it still looks and works like NEW. Awesome product! the best ive ever had, and i've used a millioni dont write reviews, unless it is the best ive eaten, used, bought, or whatever. i have long hair and this thing worked for me. had my baby chi for 4 years, but it stopped working and dont know where to take it. that is the only thing Had it for almost 4 years and it still works!I bought my CHI flat iron in January 2005 and it’s almost it’s 4 year anniversary with me – IT STILL WORKS GREAT!!!! $130 is truly a great investment. I travel a lot and my Chi is with me all the time and never fails.  WORDPROCESSORI HAVE TWO CHI FLAT IRONS AND THEY BOTH BROKE FROM THE OFF/ON SWITCH. THERE GOES $200.00. IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET REFUNDED!!!! HELP  Already broken!It was great when it worked! I qot my hot pink JC PENNEYS flat iron for $150 for my fifteenth birthday on the 23th of NOVEMBER and two days aqo I pluqqed it in and it just sat there! and now i see it was an ELECTRICAL PROBLEM! this sucks because my sister in law has one and its lasted her well over a couple months! While it worked it was GREAT and AMAZING but it doesn't L A S T! always breakingI have had 4 Chi irons and they do work great when they work. However they short out easily or the ceramic plates come loose. Returning for repair is difficult - manufacturer doesn't return e-mails and trying to secure a repair number on the web site has also been fruitless - they ask for a number on the iron which mine doesn't have - even though purchased from reputable sources. If you buy one just know that one may last a couple months, another a couple of years. You just don't know. its so goodive had my chi for 4 years and it just stopped working...i mean it was about time i had dropped it and left it on all the time im suprised it lasted this long.but the chi straighteners are the best |
